The oak tree seemed to have died in the blast, but the following year, it sprouted a single leaf, and a magnificent cluster of leaves spread all the way to the Ashiha family's garden, where the story takes place. The story begins in 2000, 55 years after the end of the war. How have the Ashiha sisters, who survived the bombing, faced that day and lived their lives since the war?
