The contemporary music ensemble "Tokyo Genon Keikaku" presents its first concert of the year. Aki Kuroda returns to the Musicians' Selection, where the members themselves handle the programming. She will be focusing on the works of composer Yuji Takahashi, with whom she has had a long and close relationship.

"Elephant Holiday" Powerful music that shakes the African continent! A moving adventure story about finding what's truly important. Story: The setting is a beautiful elephant sanctuary in Africa. Baby elephant Geer sets off into the wild under the cover of night, following the song of his mother, which was stolen by poachers. Following Geer are three people: a mysterious girl who can hear people's hearts, a researcher who protects lives, and a ranger with a secret. Set to powerful music, a thrilling chase between the three people and one elephant begins on the savanna! ★Recommended age: Elementary school children

"Who Will Take the Egg?" Story: A very mysterious egg appears before Marta, the witch's child. It turns out to be a legendary egg that appears only once every 1000 years, said to "transform into whatever it first sees"! The Kumamoto Nichinichi Shimbun Student Music Competition, established with the aim of developing and promoting classical music culture, has a long history and has produced numerous musicians and performers from among its alumni, as well as nurturing promising individuals who are active on the front lines of society. We look forward to many young talents challenging themselves again this year.
