This legendary masterpiece, which premiered in 1979 and toured nationwide until 1986 with various production changes, is being staged again after 40 years. This fourth opera composed by Hikaru Hayashi as the resident composer for Konnyaku-za is reborn under the direction of Tetsushi Oishi!

"Wakon" is a special performance series from TTR that allows audiences to enjoy the allure of Noh theater from multiple perspectives and methods. For its 12th installment, this program focuses on the waki (supporting actor) and proposes a new way to appreciate Noh. The waki is the first to appear on stage in Noh, watching over and guiding the story's development from the same perspective as the audience, and is an indispensable presence that supports the entire performance until the end. The final Noh play in the program, "Choryo," is said to be a highly difficult Noh play for the waki and is a must-see!
