琉球舞踊 重踊流とゆかりの深い沖縄市にて、重踊流師範 前田恵によるリサイタルを開催します。王朝時代の古典作品から創作まで、七番を上演。自然体で、静中動の舞姿の理想とする、琉球舞踊 重踊流ならではの舞台をお届けします。

また、1956年 コザ市胡屋に根路銘房子（現・志田房子）舞踊研究所を開設し、本年で70年の節目を迎えました。それを記念しまして、沖縄市の皆様へ感謝を込めて、志田房子、志田真木による特別番組をお送りします。

心豊かに琉球舞踊のうつくしき世界と、重踊流の継承者のひとり 前田恵による若き息吹きをご鑑賞ください。

琉球舞踊 重踊流 師範。1985年東京都生まれ。幼少より、志田房子（重要無形文化財保持者 人間国宝）、志田真木に師事。2011年 沖縄タイムス芸術選賞伝統芸能選考会にてグランプリを受賞。重要無形文化財「琉球舞踊」の保持団体である琉球舞踊保存会 伝承者として、琉球舞踊の継承に務める。文化庁主催の舞台芸術等総合支援事業にて、全国の小中学校を巡る他、大学機関等で琉球舞踊の普及公演やワークショップに出演。2016年3月には、セルリアンタワー能楽堂に於いて、琉球舞踊 八人の会 「花の橋掛り」公演を開催。昨年夏には、関西・大阪万博にて、琉球舞踊を披露するなど、舞台活動を精力的に展開する。

In Okinawa City, a place deeply connected to the Ryukyu dance style of Shigeodori, we will be holding a recital by Shigeodori master Megumi Maeda. Seven pieces will be performed, ranging from classical works from the Ryukyu Kingdom era to original compositions. We will deliver a stage unique to the Ryukyu dance style of Shigeodori, which embodies the ideal of natural movement within stillness.

Furthermore, in 1956, the Nerome Fusako (now Shida Fusako) Dance Institute was established in Goya, Koza City, and this year marks its 70th anniversary. To commemorate this, and as a token of our gratitude to the people of Okinawa City, we will be presenting a special program by Shida Fusako and Shida Maki.

Enjoy the beautiful world of Ryukyu dance and the youthful spirit of Megumi Maeda, one of the successors of the Shigeodori school.

Master of the Shigeodori school of Ryukyu dance. Born in Tokyo in 1985. Studied under Fusako Shida (Holder of Important Intangible Cultural Property, Living National Treasure) and Maki Shida from a young age. Received the Grand Prix at the Okinawa Times Arts Selection Award Traditional Performing Arts Selection Committee in 2011. As a successor of the Ryukyu Dance Preservation Society, the organization that holds the Important Intangible Cultural Property "Ryukyu Dance," she is dedicated to the continuation of Ryukyu dance. Under the Agency for Cultural Affairs' Comprehensive Support Project for Performing Arts, they tour elementary and junior high schools nationwide, and also perform in Ryukyu dance outreach shows and workshops at universities and other institutions. In March 2016, they held the Ryukyu Dance Eight-Person Group "Hana no Hashigakari" performance at the Cerulean Tower Noh Theater. Last summer, they performed Ryukyu dance at the Kansai/Osaka World Expo, and continue to actively engage in stage activities.
