日本歌曲と講談はどちらも古くから広く親しまれていますが、同時に楽しむという機会は非常に稀です。

歌詞と旋律が混ざり合って生まれる日本語の響きと、情景を言葉で伝える講談の心地よい語り口。それは時に音楽の様だと表現されることもあります。

表現手段が異なる両者ではありますが、互いに日本語の美しさや表現の豊かさ、魅力を違った形で楽しむことができるのではないかと思い、この「草の縁」という会を立ち上げました。

第2回目となる今回は、まず前半に季節や2025年に節目を迎える演目を取り上げ、後半では日本のクラシック音楽の普及に貢献した山田耕筰の没後60年を記念した内容を歌曲と講談でお届け致します。

日本歌曲と講談ともに皆様に楽しんでいただける、そして好きになっていただける公演を志して参ります。

※「草の縁」とは？…あるものを愛しく思うために、それにつながる他のものにも情愛を感じること。転じて、何らかの縁でつながるもの。

Both Japanese songs and storytelling have been widely enjoyed for a long time, but it is very rare to enjoy them at the same time.

The sound of the Japanese language, which is created by the blending of lyrics and melody, and the pleasant way of storytelling, which conveys a scene through words, are sometimes described as being like music.

Although the two have different means of expression, we thought that we could enjoy the beauty of the Japanese language, the richness of expression, and its charm in different ways, and so we started this group called "Kusa no En".

This time, which is the second time, we will first focus on the seasons and performances that will be celebrating milestones in 2025 in the first half, and in the second half, we will present songs and storytelling to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the death of Kosaku Yamada, who contributed to the spread of Japanese classical music.

We aim to perform both Japanese songs and storytelling in a way that everyone can enjoy and love.

We hope that this performance will encourage you to become interested in Japanese classical music works and storytelling.

*What is "Kusa no En"? ...Because you love something, you also feel affection for other things that are connected to it. By extension, it means something that is connected by some kind of bond.
