2026年10月21日（水）、東京・豊洲の美しい響きを誇る「豊洲シビックセンターホール」にて、国際的な評価を受ける「ウィハン弦楽四重奏団」と、国内外で目覚ましい活躍を続けるピアニスト・中山育代による、待望のコラボレーション・コンサートが開催されます。

今回のテーマは、大好評を博しているトーク付きコンサートの第8弾、トワイライトクラシック《脳が喜ぶ音楽会》。ただ音楽を聴くだけでなく、親しみやすいトークを通じて楽曲の背景や魅力を紐解きながら、クラシック音楽が持つ「美しさ」「知的刺激」「深い癒やし」を五感で体験していただく特別なステージです。一日の終わりにふさわしい贅沢なトワイライト（夕暮れ）の時間をお届けします。

贅沢な響きを堪能する、珠玉のプログラム

本公演では、古典派からロマン派、そしてチェコ音楽の真髄に触れる近代の傑作まで、バラエティに富んだ名曲の数々が演奏されます。

モーツァルト：弦楽四重奏曲第8番へ長調 K.168 モーツァルトが若き日にハイドンの影響を受けて書いたとされる、瑞々しく端正な美しさに溢れた四重奏曲です。耳にするだけで脳がすっきりと整うような、洗練された旋律をお楽しみください。

スーク：ピアノ四重奏曲イ短調 Op.1 ドヴォルザークの愛弟子であり義理の息子でもあったヨゼフ・スーク。彼の「作品1」であるこの曲は、若き情熱と甘美なロマンティシズム、そして重厚なピアノと弦の絡み合いが聴き手を強く魅了します。

シューベルト：弦楽四重奏曲ハ短調 D.703「四重奏断章」 シューベルトが成熟期に差し掛かる時期に書いた、緊迫感と叙情性が同居する傑作。単一楽章でありながら、劇的な展開と胸を締め付けるような美しい旋律が脳裏に深く刻まれます。

マルティヌー：ピアノ五重奏曲第2番 H.298 チェコを代表する近代作曲家マルティヌー。彼のピアノ五重奏曲第2番は、ダイナミックで独自の浮遊感あるリズムと、色彩豊かで美しい響きが交錯する傑作です。ウィハン四重奏団と中山育代の息の合ったアンサンブルが、その真価を余すところなく描き出します。

A supreme ensemble from the Czech Republic and a talented pianist weave together an exquisite twilight experience. A special autumn evening that will nourish both your heart and your "mind," in Toyosu.

On Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at the Toyosu Civic Center Hall in Toyosu, Tokyo, known for its beautiful acoustics, the internationally acclaimed Wihan String Quartet and pianist Ikuyo Nakayama, who continues to achieve remarkable success both domestically and internationally, will hold a long-awaited collaboration concert.

The theme of this concert is the eighth installment of the highly popular talk-included concert series, Twilight Classic: A Concert to Delight Your Brain. This is a special stage where you can experience the "beauty," "intellectual stimulation," and "deep healing" of classical music with all your senses, not just by listening to music, but by unraveling the background and charm of the pieces through engaging talk. We will deliver a luxurious twilight (evening) time befitting the end of the day.

A superb program to enjoy luxurious sounds

This performance will feature a diverse selection of masterpieces, from the Classical and Romantic periods to modern masterpieces that touch upon the essence of Czech music.

Mozart: String Quartet No. 8 in F major, K.168 This quartet, said to have been written by Mozart in his youth under the influence of Haydn, is full of fresh and refined beauty. Enjoy the sophisticated melodies that will clear your mind just by listening to them.

Suk: Piano Quartet in A minor, Op. 1 Josef Suk was Dvořák's beloved pupil and son-in-law. This piece, his "Opus 1," will strongly captivate listeners with its youthful passion, sweet romanticism, and the rich interplay of piano and strings.

Schubert: String Quartet in C minor, D.703 "Quartet Fragment" A masterpiece written by Schubert during his mature period, where tension and lyricism coexist. Though it is a single movement, the dramatic development and the beautiful, heart-wrenching melody leave a deep impression on the mind.

Martinů: Piano Quintet No. 2, H.298 Martinů is a leading modern composer from the Czech Republic. His Piano Quintet No. 2 is a masterpiece in which dynamic and uniquely floating rhythms intertwine with colorful and beautiful sounds. The harmonious ensemble of the Wihan Quartet and Ikuyo Nakayama fully brings out its true value.
