Why not celebrate this precious day together and experience the charm and history of Iwami Ginzan?
July 2 (Wed) is the anniversary of the registration of the World Heritage Site "Iwami Ginzan Silver Mine Ruins and its Cultural Landscape". On that day, the exhibition room of our center will be open to the public free of charge.
※Admission to the following three facilities is also free.

◆Little Kids Gathering! Iwami Kotsu Bus Driver Experience
At the parking lot in front of the center

Take photos pretending to be a bus driver and get a balloon!
◆Look for silver!
At the experience building
Participation fee: 800 yen (elementary school students and younger must be accompanied by a guardian)
Look for silver in the sand!
Put the silver you find in a small bottle and take it home
◆Touch and experience real silver [silver slivers and ore]
At the second exhibition room
Free
You can actually touch real silver slivers (old money) and ore.
◆Color your Daruma dolls, Kagura masks, and Shimanekko!
In the orientation room
Participation fee: 1,500 yen each
Color the bisque pottery with paint
You can take it home on the day

Experience sanding and painting a spinning top and strap.
◆Making a memorial item from a buried tree
At the orientation room
Participation fee: 200 yen
Experience carving a buried tree (real thing) from the Jomon period and processing it into a pendant top, etc.

Around the World Heritage Center building
You can enjoy delicious food such as bento boxes.
Eating and drinking are not permitted inside the building. Outdoor eating and resting space available
