overview
A parent-child recital series started by Akihiro Miura, concertmaster of the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, on the occasion of his 60th birthday, with his daughter.
This fifth concert will begin with a sonata, a masterpiece from Debussy's later years. Among the unaccompanied sonatas by Bach, which have become familiar in recitals, and the German Romanticism that Miura specializes in, this time we will be presenting Brahms' No. 3. Among Brahms' violin sonatas, No. 3 is a work that stands out for its particularly deep inner depth, and is a must-listen for the profound expression of the violin and piano.
