The long-awaited Aomori/Hachinohe performance with the Kyoto Symphony Orchestra, where she serves as Principal Conductor
Okizawa Nodoka is a highly popular conductor active around the world.
In 2019, she won the Besançon International Conducting Competition, a competition previously won by Seiji Ozawa, Yutaka Sado, and Kazuki Yamada.
From 2020, she served as assistant to Kirill Petrenko, artistic director of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, for two years, and was appointed principal conductor of the Seiji Ozawa Matsumoto Festival at the request of Seiji Ozawa during his lifetime.
She is highly sought after by orchestras overseas and is attracting attention from orchestras around the world.
