The long-awaited Aomori/Hachinohe performance with the Kyoto Symphony Orchestra, of which Okisawa Nodoka is the permanent conductor.
The world-famous "ultra-popular conductor" Okisawa Nodoka is active worldwide.
In 2019, he won the Besançon International Conducting Competition, a competition previously won by Seiji Ozawa, Yutaka Sado, and Kazuki Yamada.
From 2020, he served as assistant to Kirill Petrenko, artistic director of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, for two years, and was appointed principal conductor of the Seiji Ozawa Matsumoto Festival at the request of Seiji Ozawa himself during his lifetime.
He is highly sought after by orchestras overseas and is attracting attention from orchestras around the world.
