overview
Long ago, the gods of heaven gathered the light that holds life, transformed it into a princess, and sent her down to earth. When the princess prayed, the "Kagiroi Light" was emitted, creating a vast forest of endless greenery. This forest, called "Kagiroi Forest," gave birth to many living creatures, including plants, beasts, and humans.
Long ago, humans became intoxicated with the power of the "science" they had created, and one by one, unnecessary plants and animals were eliminated. Mirko was banished from the capital after picking up and nurturing a plant seed that was about to be discarded.
Arriving in the village of Asamadaki near Kagiroi Forest, Mirko meets three warriors from the village: El, Lind, and Hugo. They accept him as a companion and he also becomes friends with Ren, an expert at reading the movements of the clouds, and Ren's sister, Liz.
Meanwhile, in Kagiroi Forest, General Wolf, the leader of the beasts, is secretly plotting with his minions Fox, Leopard, and Panther. Plants such as the linden tree, amaryllis, and freesia are anxious, but continue to watch in order to maintain order in the forest.
And finally, Wolf's plan causes a major uproar. To protect the village of Asamadaki, Mirko, along with El, Lind, and Hugo, venture deep into Kagiroi Forest...As the feelings of humans, plants, and animals all intersect, the adventure is about to begin.
