概要

～私たちは泳ぐの　空気の中で　想像の翼を広げて～

1924年、イギリス。

妻子ある男性と恋に落ち、望まれぬ子を産んだペルセポネーは、社会的に不適合とされ「触法的精神障がい者更生施設」に収監されることになる。そこで出会ったのは、葉巻を吸い、過度に男性的にふるまった罪でここに閉じ込められたドーラだった。

長い監禁生活。極限の状態に追い込まれながらも、彼女たちはユーモアを忘れずに、豊かな想像力をもって見事に生き抜いていく。〈現実〉と〈妄想〉の狭間を漂いながら…。

2024年イロトリドリノハナが上演し好評を博した『エアスイミング』をより深化させ、再演。大いなる熱量と祈りを込めて、「人間の尊厳」を皆様に再び問いかけます。

We Swim in the Air, Spreading the Wings of Imagination - England, 1924. After falling in love with a married man and giving birth to an unwanted child, Persephone is deemed a social misfit and imprisoned in a "mental rehabilitation facility." There, she meets Dora, who has also been imprisoned there for smoking cigars and behaving in an overly masculine manner. Despite their long imprisonment, they maintain their sense of humor and use their rich imaginations to survive admirably. Drifting between reality and delusion... This is a deeper rendition of "Air Swimming," a play by Irotoridori no Hana that was well-received in 2024. With great passion and prayer, we once again question the dignity of humanity.
