葛飾北斎の浮世絵と小唄で江戸文化を満喫する公演です。

This performance offers a chance to fully enjoy Edo culture through Katsushika Hokusai's ukiyo-e prints and traditional Japanese songs.

葛飾北斎の浮世絵と小唄の生演奏で、江戸の市井の暮らしを描き出す舞台。噺家が江戸の登場人物になったり、小唄や浮世絵を解説。あたかも江戸の町に迷い込んだような時間をお届けします。六回目となる今回は、リニューアルオープンした江戸東京博物館小ホールが会場です。

夜の部は、英語対応公演となっていますので、訪日・在日外国人の方にもお楽しみいただけます。

A stage performance depicting the everyday life of Edo through Katsushika Hokusai's ukiyo-e prints and live performance of kouta (short songs). The storyteller takes on the roles of Edo characters and provides commentary on the kouta and ukiyo-e prints. We will deliver an experience as if you have wandered into the town of Edo. This sixth performance will be held at the newly renovated Edo-Tokyo Museum Small Hall.

The evening performance is available in English, so it can be enjoyed by foreign visitors and residents in Japan.
