劇団壱劇屋所属の演出家で殺陣師である竹村晋太朗によるオリジナル作品。
劇中から台詞・ナレーション・字幕を一切排し、俳優の身体表現と殺陣のみで物語を紡ぐ、団体独自の作風。

劇中に台詞のない殺陣芝居、通称【ワードレス×殺陣芝居】と名付け、使用言語や国籍を飛び越えた観劇体験を提供するものとして2015年より上演を重ねてきた。

不死の鬼が人間の赤子を託され、その人生に寄り添いながら共に生きた数十年の物語。
死なない鬼を一人の俳優が演じ、年齢を重ね老いていく一人の人間を、春・夏・秋・冬になぞらえた四人の俳優がリレー形式で繋ぎながら演じることで、言葉を超えて伝わる普遍的な愛を描く。

同ジャンル内でも団体を代表する作品のひとつと自負する本作を、数年以内の海外展開を見据え、
作曲・音楽監督として和田俊輔氏、くぼなつみ氏の両名を迎えることで、初の全曲オリジナル劇伴による新たな挑戦として上演する。

< あらすじ >
死なない鬼は、ずっと独りで生きていた。

何千年、何万年、途方もなく続く年月。
普通に生きることに憧れる鬼は、ある女の一生を隣で過ごすことになる。
途方もなく続くうちのたったの五十年。
五十年が終わるとき、鬼は何を想うのか。

鬼にとっては一瞬の、人にとっては一生の、ほんの数十年間の物語。
これはそんな、死なない鬼の終わらない一生のお話。

An original work by Shintaro Takemura, a director and fight choreographer belonging to the theater company Ichigekiya.
The group's unique style completely eliminates dialogue, narration, and subtitles from the play, weaving the story solely through the actors' physical expression and fight choreography.

A fight choreography play without dialogue, commonly known as "Wordless Fight Choreography Play," has been performed repeatedly since 2015, offering a theatrical experience that transcends language and nationality.

The story of an immortal demon entrusted with a human baby, and the decades spent living alongside it, accompanying it through its life.
One actor plays an immortal demon, and four actors, each representing one of the four seasons (spring, summer, autumn, and winter), take turns portraying a single human being who ages, depicting a universal love that transcends words.

This work, which the group proudly considers one of its representative works within its genre, will be performed as a new challenge with an entirely original musical score, with an eye towards overseas expansion within the next few years,
by welcoming Shunsuke Wada and Natsumi Kubo as composers and music directors.

Thousands of years, tens of thousands of years, an unimaginable amount of time.
The demon, who longed to live a normal life, ends up spending the entire life of a certain woman beside him.
Only fifty years out of that unimaginable amount of time.
What does the demon think when fifty years come to an end?

A story of just a few decades, a fleeting moment for the demon, a lifetime for humans.
This is the story of the never-ending life of an immortal demon.
