A fleeting, beautiful, and deeply moving love story. A full-length performance of the ballet masterpiece "Giselle." Starring Kosuke Okumura (New National Theatre Ballet) and Remi Tomioka (Star Dancers Ballet), this is a truly professional stage production. Act 1 depicts the pure love and tragedy of Giselle, a village girl, while Act 2 portrays the fantastical world of the Wilis—a masterpiece of romantic ballet. This is a special one-day-only performance created by professional dancers and students working together. Please come and experience it at the theater.

Six up-and-coming rakugo storytellers will compete in a heated battle of storytelling skills. The judges will be the audience! Your vote could change the fate of a rakugo storyteller. Look forward to the moment a new star is born! Past grand prize winners include Hayashiya Taihei (3rd), Katsura Bunji (7th), Kokontei Kikunojo (8th), Yanagiya Sansan (9th), and Shunputei Ichinosuke (19th), all of whom are currently very popular storytellers. With a history of over 30 years, this is a gateway for young rakugo storytellers and is considered one of the "three major young rakugo storyteller competitions," alongside the "Sagamihara Young Rakugo Storyteller Championship" and the "NHK Newcomer Rakugo Grand Prize."

In 2021, to commemorate Akihiro Miura's 60th birthday, a recital series began at Musicaza with his daughter, Maika. This sixth installment opens with Beethoven's youthful Violin Sonata No. 1. Following this, Miura tackles Bach's unaccompanied violin works, one of his life's works, and Prokofiev's Violin Sonata No. 2. These masterpieces strike a perfect balance between the depth and Russian lyricism contained within their transparent and clear melodies. Pay close attention to the dialogue between the violin and piano, and the beautiful interplay of melodies.
