[演目] 無言劇『海のこどもたち2026 ボクハ、ワスレナイ』レ

[あらすじ]

舞台は世界のどこかの海。

波間から3人のこどもたちが這い出てくる。たわいない親子ごっこ遊びが始まり、果ては宇宙旅行まで想像力は広がる。マイムとダンスが入り混じり、笑いあり、ダンスあり、音楽あり、やがてふとしたことからイジメや諍いが起こる。そうしてさまざまな感情が渦巻きながら、物語は変幻してゆく。いつのまにか舞台は戦場に変わり、子どもたちは巻き込まれ銃撃戦に駆り出される。子どもたちは追いつめられて、崖から海へと沈んでしまう。

時を経て、3人のこどもたちは大人になり再会し、生きる喜びが音楽とともに舞台いっぱいに広がっていく。

本作は、現代演劇界の代表的な劇作家・演出家の鄭義信の新演出による、本作品は、子ども社会の無垢な遊びから、いじめや戦争へと連なる社会構造を子ども視点で描く。子ども役を大人のアクターが演じることで固定化された「子ども像」を相対化し、多様性の受容を考える。海に沈んだ子どもたちの再会は、犠牲者への鎮魂、未来への希望を象徴する。言語に依存しないノンバーバル表現により、年齢や文化、障がいの違いを超え、感情に直接訴えかける体験型舞台を創出する。より開かれた鑑賞環境の実現を模索し、広く展開していきたい。

[Program] Silent play "Children of the Sea 2026: I Will Never Forget"

[Synopsis]

The stage is the sea somewhere in the world.

Three children crawl out from the waves. They begin playing innocent parent-child games, and their imagination expands to include space travel. Mime and dance are intertwined, there is laughter, dancing, and music, and then bullying and conflicts arise unexpectedly. As various emotions swirl around, the story transforms. Before you know it, the stage has turned into a battlefield, and the children are caught up in a gunfight. The children are cornered and sink from a cliff into the sea.

Time passes, and the three children grow up and reunite, and the joy of living spreads throughout the stage with music. This work, a new production by Chung Eui-shin, a leading playwright and director in the contemporary theater world, depicts the social structure that leads from the innocent play of children to bullying and war, from a child's perspective. By having adult actors play the roles of children, the fixed "image of children" is relativized, and the acceptance of diversity is considered. The reunion of the children who sank into the sea symbolizes the repose of the souls of the victims and hope for the future. Through nonverbal expression that does not depend on language, it creates an experiential stage that transcends differences in age, culture, and disability, and directly appeals to emotions. We would like to explore the realization of a more open viewing environment and expand it widely.
