今から約1300年前、奈良の都。

皇后・光明子の命により八体の像がこの世に生まれ落ちた。

五部浄、沙羯羅、鳩槃荼、乾闥婆、阿修羅、 迦楼羅、緊那羅、畢婆迦羅。

今なお興福寺に残る八体の像。

静かに、そしてどこか寂しく佇んでいる。

その誕生は多くの謎に包まれていたーー

阿修羅像誕生の影にあった名もなき仏師の人生を、

独自の視点で描く新作ミュージカル。

Approximately 1300 years ago, in the capital of Nara.

By order of Empress Kōmyōshi, eight statues were born into this world.

Gobujō, Shakara, Kumbhanda, Gandharva, Ashura, Garuda, Kinnara, and Bibakara.

These eight statues still remain at Kōfuku-ji Temple today.

They stand quietly, and somehow lonely.

Their birth is shrouded in mystery--

A new musical that depicts the life of the nameless sculptor who lay in the shadow of the birth of the Ashura statue

from a unique perspective.
