Canadian choreographer Dana Michel sculpture, visual expression, affected from such as psychology, their work to defeat a variety of potential social practices by its own dance language. He has been invited to various parts of the world and has been attracting attention. This time, we will introduce it to the festival audience at a two-pronged video screening of the solo work "Mercurial George" that has been performed since 2016 and the latest video work "Lay them all down" (2020). ..
Asked with delicate gestures, sounds and songs in Mercurial George is a very universal and personal message. "Where does" identity "come from and how is it set for you? What is the impact on things, emotions, and love? The video work "Lay them all down", which was premiered at the 11th Berlin Biennale this year, was held in Corona Whirlpool, in collaboration with visual artist Tracy Maurice. Built on live performances, Michelle moves from museum space to space, like men's suits and sometimes rugs, anger, sexuality, confusion, power and joy, with various appearances. Find yourself in various emotions. We want you to fully experience Michelle's dance world, which is filled with delicate and rich subtleties!
