今回は、平家の公達・平敦盛を描いた「敦盛」を取り上げ、能と講談、ハーモニカ演奏でお楽しみいただきます。

　佐藤秀廊（画号・佐藤日梵）が編曲したハーモニカ演奏曲「青葉の笛幻想曲」を、

　日本を代表するハーモニカ奏者の寺澤ひろみが披露します。

＜講談「青葉の笛」　神田織音＞

　いざ討たんとみれば、我が子と同じ年頃の若武者であった…。

　熊谷次郎直実が捕らえたるは、若き平家の公達・平敦盛。

　同じ年頃の息子をもつ直実、首落とすこと躊躇うも、

　背後には源氏の軍勢が続々とやってくる。

　いずれ誰かに討たれるならばせめて我が手でと、

　悲しみこらえ討ち取るは、熊谷次郎直実…。

　講談師・神田織音が切なる気持ちを読み上げます。

＜半能「敦盛」　鈴木啓吾＞

　我が子と同じ年頃の平敦盛を打ち取った熊谷次郎直実は、世の無常を感じ出家。

　蓮生法師と名乗り、菩提を弔う旅をする。

　その蓮生法師の前に現れたのは、敦盛の亡霊。

　合戦前夜の管弦の宴を思い起こしながら舞を舞う、後の場面をご覧いただきます。

This time, we will be taking a look at "Atsumori," a story about Heike nobleman Taira no Atsumori, and enjoying Noh, storytelling, and harmonica performances.

Suzuki Keigo (Shite-kata Kanze-ryu Noh actor)

The harmonica performance "Aoba no Fue Fantasia" arranged by Sato Shuro (artist name Sato Nibon) will be performed by

Hiromi Terasawa, one of Japan's leading harmonica players.

When he was about to attack, he turned out to be a young warrior of the same age as his own son...

Kumagai Jiro Naozane captured the young Taira nobleman, Taira no Atsumori.

Naozane, who has a son of the same age, hesitates to cut off the head,

but the Genji troops are coming one after another from behind.

If he is going to be killed by someone, at least he should do it with his own hand,

Kumagai Jiro Naozane endures his grief and kills him...

Storyteller Kanda Orion reads out his heartfelt feelings.

＜Hannoh play "Atsumori" by Suzuki Keigo＞

After killing Taira Atsumori, who was the same age as his son, Kumagai Jiro Naozane felt the impermanence of the world and became a monk.

Calling himself Rensho Hoshi, he travels to pray for the soul of his father.

The ghost of Atsumori appears before Rensho Hoshi.

You will see a later scene in which he dances while recalling the musical banquet on the eve of the battle.
