
A new play written by playwright and psychiatrist Kurumizawa Shin will be performed under the direction of Azuma Kenji (playwright, director, and head of Sanshiki Doji). This is the third time the two have teamed up. In this work, Kurumizawa Shin, who is also a practicing psychiatrist, depicts a story that incorporates the issues of modern psychiatric care and the three witches from "Macbeth" as nurses. In this work, Kurumizawa Shin, a practicing psychiatrist, has created a story that incorporates the issues of modern psychiatric care and the three witches from Macbeth as nurses. Azuma Kenji, renowned for his portrayals of forgotten people at the mercy of history, will take on the challenge of directing. The play aims to empower audiences by asking questions such as why people become mentally ill and what we truly value in life.
