In 2025, Toji Kamata, the original author of "Super Translation of the Kojiki," passed away. As a memorial performance, we are presenting two ritualistic works, "The Kojiki," which has been performed monthly in our studio without an audience since the Moscow performance in 2018, and "The Tale of Genji," which has been well-received since its premiere last year.

The Umewaka-kai aims to widely promote Noh, a traditional Japanese performing art that has been passed down for over 600 years. In "Noh Meets Fusion," students will explore the similarities and differences between Noh and fusion music, recording their own chants and reexamining the essence of voice through collaboration with other disciplines. Through multifaceted learning with leading instructors, the program offers an opportunity for the next generation of artists to reconsider the value of the classics and broaden their horizons. A series of study groups and workshops will be held, resulting in the presentation of a special collaborative performance.
