Aoyama Noh MIRAI is a performance planned with the desire to nurture the next generation of Noh performers who will carry the future of Nohgaku together with everyone.
This performance mainly features children who are not yet Noh performers. Please be aware of this in advance.
Kagetsu
A Noh play full of arts, in which Kagetsu, a boy who has been separated from his father and serves at Higashiyama Unkyoji Temple, shows off a variety of skills.
In the dance-music section, we see the final scene in which Kagetsu, who has been happily reunited with his father, plays the kakko drum and recounts his days traveling around the mountains while dancing.
Kani Yamabushi
A mountain ascetic from Mount Haguro in Dewa Province completes his training and sets off on his journey home with his strongman. Suddenly a strange creature leaps out, and the two, startled and bewildered, ask its name, only to be told it is a crab spirit... A Kyogen play that satirizes an arrogant mountain ascetic within a bizarre setting. Yoshino Tennin (The Celestial Being of Yoshino) Yoshino Mountain in full bloom of spring. Appearing before a group of people enjoying the cherry blossoms in the guise of villagers is actually a celestial being... That night, the celestial being descends upon the group, gracefully performs the Five Festivals Dance under the moonlight, praises the reign, and disappears on a cloud. A fantastical Noh play depicting people admiring and playing with flowers on Yoshino Mountain in full bloom.

*There is no parking at the venue, so please refrain from coming by car.
*Entry and exit to the auditorium may be restricted during the performance.
*Actions that disturb other customers, as well as bringing in dangerous items and alcoholic beverages, are strictly prohibited.
*Eating and drinking in the auditorium, and taking photographs, recording audio or video without the organizer's permission are strictly prohibited.
*To avoid disrupting the performance, please turn off the power of mobile phones and other devices that emit sound or light during the performance.
*Except in the case of cancellation of the performance due to force majeure such as a natural disaster, tickets cannot be canceled, exchanged for other performances, or refunded.
*The opening time may change depending on the crowd situation and preparations.
